They must stay in the international transit area of the airport and have documents required for the next destination. TWOV between terminals must be pre-arranged by carrier.   • Visa application form. A completed application form for Indonesia will be prepared within 5 business hours of order submission, and emailed to you to download and print.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. Include 2 passport style photos, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a charge associated with this service.

  • Approval Letter. Approval Notification issued by the Clearing House of the Department of Foreign Affairs or Indonesian Immigration.
    If applying for a MULTIPLE ENTRY business visa must get an approval notice from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Jakarta prior to applying for the visa, and it must be sent to the specific Indonesian Consulate you will be applying at. This is generally handled by your host in Indonesia.

  • Complete itinerary. A copy of round trip tickets or detailed itinerary showing all intermediary countries between your destination and return to country of origin. The applicant's name must be on itinerary.

  • Business Letter. A soft/hard copy of business letter from the sending company. The letter should be printed on the company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Indonesia, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines: Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant). State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. nature of contracting, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Indonesia. Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e. a one year multiple entry business visa). Guarantee of sufficient funds for travel. In the event the applicant is self-employed, please mention the nature of business conducted in Indonesia in the application under "Other" in paragraph 1.15. Specify the place of accommodation in {Country}.

  • Business invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in the destination country. The letter should be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to "The Consulate of Indonesia, Visa Section", and signed by a senior manager. The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
    Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
    State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in the destination country.
    Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e. a one year multiple entry business visa).

  • Host's ID. Please provide a copy of the passport for the individual signing the business invitation letter from Indonesia. If the individual is not an Indonesian citizen please also provide a copy of their proof of status in Indonesia.

  • Visa application form. A completed application form for Indonesia will be prepared within 5 business hours of order submission, and emailed to you to download and print.

  • Original passport. Original, signed passport with at least 6 months of remaining validity.

  • Passport-type photograph. A digital copy of your photo MUST be uploaded upon completion of your order.

  • Itinerary. A reservation of the flight itinerary under the traveler's name. Must show flights entering and exiting Indonesia.

  • Bank statement. Copy of the applicant's most recent monthly bank statement. The statement must clearly show the applicant's name as the account holder, the balances of the accounts, and the date of the statement.

  • Employment letter. A letter from your employer/school (on business letterhead, with contact details), stating that a leave of absence has been granted and that you will be returning to your current job. If you are self-employed, include a copy of your business license and tax return. If you are retired please submit proof of your retirement fund.

  • Visa application form. A completed application form for Indonesia will be prepared within 5 business hours of order submission, and emailed to you to download and print.

  • Original passport. The passport must be valid at least 6 months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the destination country and has at least 2 blank visa pages.

  • Passport-type photograph. Include 2 passport style photos, with a white background, taken within the last 6 months. You may also choose to upload a photo to your order for us to print. There is a charge associated with this service.

Copy of KIMS/KITAS (Indonesian Immigration's temporary stay permit) of the principal/person who is a non-Indonesian citizen that sponsoring your visit, or Identification card for foreigner. Foreign citizen in Indonesia who does not have KIMS/KITAS nor Identification Card for Foreign National could not sponsor a family visit.

Indonesia COVID-19 travel restrictions

    Prior to arrival restrictions

    Foreign nationals are prohibited from entering or transiting Indonesia. This policy does not apply to persons who hold a valid diplomatic or official visa, a diplomatic or official residence permit, a temporary stay permit or temporary stay visa, a permanent stay visa, or a visit visa.
    Foreign nationals permitted to enter Indonesia must fill in and submit an Electronic Health Alert Card (e-HAC) and carry proof of a negative result for COVID-19 issued no more than 72 hours prior to departure using a reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test.
    Upon arrival requirements

    Upon arrival, foreign nationals must, at their own expense, undergo an additional RT-PCR test and a 5-day quarantine at a designated facility. At the end of the quarantine period, foreign nationals must undergo a third RT-PCR test. Persons who at any point test positive for COVID-19 shall be transferred to a hospital for treatment at their own expense.
